One of our goals as your “other” family doctor is to provide you and your pet with the same great services and benefits that you receive from your human doctor’s office. For example:

How does it work?

1

Prepare for your visit

First, decide which of our great providers is the best fit for your family. Write down any questions you may have about your pets healthcare needs and collect any necessary samples prior to your visit.

2

Schedule your appointment

Second, give us a call and let one of our fabulous Customer Service Representatives set up an appointment for you. You can also send us a chat using the link below to schedule online.

3

Head to your appointment!

Make sure that your kitty arrives for their visit in a properly secured carrier, and that your pups arrive with a well-fitted collar or harness on. We can't wait to see you!

4

Meet the doctor

Step four is the fun part - meeting with your pets new best friend. We promote a fear-free environment here at CVC and aim to make every visit as comfortable for our patients (and their humans) as possible. If your pet is extra nervous when going to the vet, please let our staff know ahead of time so we can discuss ways to make their visit more pleasant.

5

Collect your treats

Finally, head to the front desk for check out. Be sure to collect, at this time, any prevention, prescription refills, or food that you may need. And don't forget to let your pup have a cookie from our treat jar (as long as his doctor approves)!

Pawsitively the Best

Great place for pet care! They always fit us in for visit when a pet is ill. Online reminder service for appointments. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Great doctors & staff! They were so helpful when our cat (who is chronically ill) was very sick. They were so supportive when our ferret was diagnosed with Lymphoma. When our ferret passed, they cried with us. And I was really surprised when we got a card of condolence from everyone... That was so special & kind. Thank you!!!

Coastal Vet was great! We were visiting the area and needed an urgent visit for our lab. They were quick to help on the phone, and got us an appointment the same morning ... met us at the door, took care of our dog with a very quick and efficient turnaround, and overall were extremely helpful and caring. Highly recommend!

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ We recently met Dr. Parker and his staff via the Emergency Pet Services they have after hours at this same location. My family and I can not thank Dr. Parker and the entire staff for their knowledgeable, professionalism and compassion while treating our beloved, 12 YO goldendoodle, Daisey. While our outcome was not favorable and we had to make a very hard decision in the end for her; I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking expert care and guidance for their family pet. You earned both our trust and business in the future when we decide to add to our family again in the future. By simply being what most people are not these days; passion for your work and compassion for your clients. Thank you. Carole, Robert & Savanna.

we’re here to answer all your questions

Our initial exam cost starts at $70. This includes collection of your pet’s vitals and a full physical exam from the doctor. At this time, the doctor will discuss with you in detail their physical exam findings and answer any questions you may have about your pets healthcare plan.

If this will be your very first visit to CVC – welcome! We ask that you bring with you any relevant medical history, including your pets current vaccination record, a list of current medications (if any), and anything else you think we should know about your pet prior to their visit. Records can also be emailed ahead of time to records@coastalvetclinic.com

If your pet is coming in for their annual exam or vaccines, please bring a fecal sample (collected day of) and a list of any health concerns or questions for the doctor. Your doctor or technician may ask questions about your pets current diet and lifestyle, so please be prepared to provide this information if necessary.

Yes! Each member of our talented team of veterinarians is fully capable of providing quality care and medical expertise for your pet. However, we understand that pets (just like their humans) often have specific needs when it comes to methods of practice, energy, and approach. Our Customer Service Representatives and Veterinary Technicians will do their very best to match you with a doctor who will best suit the needs of you and your pet. And once you’ve found a doctor that’s the right fit for your family, feel free to request them for any future appointments!
